Biography

Directed the world premiere of The Last Five Years at Chicago's Northlight Theatre as well as its off-Broadway run at the Minetta Lane Theatre which won 2 Drama Desk Awards. She also directed the original production of Jason Robert Brown's Songs for a New World at the WPA Theater Off-Broadway. As a performer, she has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at the Public Theater, Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall and City Center. Daisy can be heard singing on the cast albums of Merrily We Roll Along (original cast), Pal Joey (Encores! production), Follies in Concert, and John Bucchino's Grateful; she has appeared in three Woody Allen films, and is a graduate of Brown University. This summer Daisy will direct It's Only Life, by John Bucchino at the Rubicon Theatre in Los Angeles.
